At the onset of a disaster, the American Red Cross may need to acquire and maintain temporary spaces or buildings for service delivery, operation administration, and movement of product during disaster operations. With few exceptions, Red Cross does not own these buildings or spaces. So, carefully selecting adequate facilities is vital to effectively serve the community.
